Hand wash only, in warm soapy water, and dry with a soft cloth. Not dishwasher safe and not microwave safe - the gilding is real gold.

Fine bone china, light in the hand and bright under the tea, finished with real gold gilding. Each cup sits on its own matching saucer.

Designed in Australia and made in China, in four colours and three designs, so you can keep to one or set the table with a little of everything.

Lady Harriet held that a cup should be chosen, not merely taken from the cupboard. Red for a cold morning, green for the garden, purple when there was news, and black for the evenings when only the strongest pot would do.

She never matched them all. Guests were handed whichever cup suited them, and the bee always went to whoever had worked hardest that week.
