Tap out the leaves, rinse, and give it a gentle wash in warm, soapy water now and then. Dry it well and it will keep its shine for years.

Stainless steel throughout, with a mesh fine enough to catch the smallest leaf and handles cut in the old scrolled pattern you'd find in a grandmother's sideboard. The handles rest steady on a teacup or a mug, and the bowl beneath takes the drips between pours.
